Parking Case 2 Discussion

This parking spot does not meet code since no access isle is provided. Before the sidewalk was upgraded with a full width curb ramp it was possible for a side lift van to use the sidewalk as the access isle. I am concerned with the exposed curb to the right of the spot but it appears to meet code. It certainly is a trip hazard. The curb is scheduled to be painted white or yellow.

Solution: Move spot over to left and provide an access isle. See after picture Case2A.
